The Executive, Advisor, + Coach

Marla is the Founder and CEO of Culture Shift Agency, a trailblazing coaching and consulting firm committed to propelling leaders into a new era – where personal development and organizational health are inextricably linked. Her company takes a two-pronged approach to drive meaningful impact by empowering leaders to heal into their true potential and collaborating with forward-thinking companies to help them build and nurture equitable cultures. The coaching arm of her business includes a coaching house staffed by twelve executive coaches impacting hundreds of leaders.

Marla’s work with corporate clients includes leading retreats, workshops, keynotes and developing programming on topics such as value-based leadership, breathwork practices for resiliency, and somatic practices for presence and creativity. She has worked with employees at all levels of an organization, from entry level executives to Chairperson of the Board. Having facilitated over 50+ retreats, ranging from half-day to week-long experiences for individuals and groups, Marla is passionate about empowering individuals and teams to fully assess the ways they think, behave, and work, to make lasting impact in their personal and professional lives.

Marla’s background includes a Masters of Science in Social Work from Columbia
University with a focus on the intersection of organizational development and individual clinical practice. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of California at Berkeley graduating magna cum laude, is a Certified Empowerment Coach and Facilitator, a Conversational Intelligence® (C-IQ) Enhanced Skill Practitioner, Certified Breathwork Practitioner and Registed Yoga Teacher.
